When is the best time to photograph my newborn baby?
It’s generally recommended to photograph newborns within the first three weeks of life. This is when they are typically still very sleepy, flexible, and easy to pose.
Is 3-6 weeks too old to photograph my baby?
Between 3- 6 weeks, babies are more alert and may not be as cooperative for certain poses, but you can capture their personality and expressions as they begin to engage more with their surroundings.
However, photographing a newborn at 6 weeks is not too old.

When should I reach out for newborn photography?
It’s best to reserve your newborn photographer in your 2nd trimester to ensure availability. In my experience this isn’t always the case as you have a million other things to think about so don’t ever fret on reaching out to see if I’m available. I am always happy to accommodate a new baby, even an older one.
Ultimately, the best time to photograph your newborn is when you feel ready and comfortable.
